Katrina L. Coffman Sentenced to 15 Years for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, Lincoln NE, 2023

A federal judge has handed down a 15-year prison sentence to Katrina L. Coffman, 36, of Lincoln, Nebraska, for her role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

According to court documents, Coffman was involved in the distribution of at least three kilograms of methamphetamine mixture in the Lincoln area between January 2017 and February 2021.

The case against Coffman was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force, which uncovered evidence that at least two ounces of methamphetamine seized from a vehicle during a traffic stop in February 2021 was intended to be provided to Coffman.

Coffman’s sentence was determined by a prior serious felony drug conviction, which triggered a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years. She will also face 10 years of supervised release after serving her sentence.

The sentencing was carried out by United States District Judge John M. Gerrard in federal court in Lincoln. Acting United States Attorney Steven Russell announced the sentencing.
