A 59-year-old Lancaster man is facing up to 130 years in prison after being charged with enticing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
Richard Haines, Jr., of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was charged today by indictment with enticement of a minor and possession of child pornography.
According to prosecutors, Haines allegedly enticed a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct so that he could take pictures of the conduct.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Michael L. Levy and Michelle Rotella.
If convicted, Haines faces a maximum possible sentence of 130 years with a 15-year mandatory minimum, as well as 5 years to a lifetime of supervised release, a $1,250,000 fine, restitution, forfeiture, and a $500 special assessment.
The indictment alleges that Haines committed the crimes in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
