Norman and her husband, Louis R. Masaschi, were indicted by a federal grand jury in May 2025. Norman’s sister, Christine Gendron, a certified public accountant, also pleaded guilty in a related case in June 2025.

The charges against Norman carry potential sentences of up to 35 years in prison and fines of up to $1.25 million, depending on the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and FBI Special Agent in Charge Ted E. Docks announced the guilty plea. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Steven H. Breslow and Caroline Merck are handling the prosecution of this case.
