Michael D. Funovits, a 49-year-old resident of Butler, Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty to charges of willful failure to collect or pay over tax, in a stunning admission of guilt that has left the community reeling.
According to Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti, Funovits pleaded guilty to four counts before United States District Judge William S. Stickman IV, in a federal court hearing that laid bare the extent of his wrongdoing.
