Loren Goodlow, 33, Indicted for Sexual Abuse of a Minor
A Fort Thompson man has been hit with federal charges for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with two minors who had not yet reached the age of 16.
Loren Goodlow, 33, was indicted by a federal grand jury in April 2023 for Sexual Abuse of a Minor and Abusive Sexual Contact.
According to court documents, the maximum penalty for conviction is 15 years in custody and/or a $250,000 fine, five years up to lifetime supervised release, and $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund for each count.
Goodlow is accused of engaging in sexual acts with the minors, who were both over the age of 12 but not yet 16 at the time of the alleged incidents.
The FBI is leading the investigation, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelsey Blair is prosecuting the case.
Goodlow pleaded not guilty to the indictment and was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending trial. A trial date has been set for June 27, 2023.
The charges against Goodlow are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
