Lower Brule Man Charged in Abusive Sexual Contact of a Minor
A 39-year-old man from Lower Brule, South Dakota, has been charged with Abusive Sexual Contact of a Minor, according to the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Dakota.
The indictment, which was handed down by a federal grand jury on November 15, 2012, alleges that Robert Stricker, 39, engaged in a serious and disturbing crime.
On June 5, 2013, Stricker appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno and pled not guilty to the charges.
The maximum penalty for this crime is 3 years of imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, or both; 2 years of supervised release, a mandatory minimum term of 5 years up to life of supervised release upon revocation; and a mandatory $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
