Tennessee Man Faces Fentanyl Trafficking Charges in Montana

A Tennessee man accused of dealing fentanyl that resulted in an overdose death has appeared in federal court on drug charges in Great Falls, Montana.

Malice Clark, Jr., also known as Greg Clark, aka “Greed,” 57, made an initial appearance on an Indictment charging him with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and distribution of controlled substances resulting in death.

If convicted, Clark faces a maximum of life imprisonment, a $1,000,000 fine and at least 3 years of supervised release.

The government alleged in court documents that between February 2021 and April 2022, Clark knowingly possessed fentanyl with the intent to distribute it to other people and that he did knowingly distribute fentanyl to a person that caused their death.

U.S. Magistrate Judge John T Johnson presided over the hearing, during which Clark was detained pending further proceedings.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey K. Starnes is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and Great Falls Police Department.
