Kevin Ray Marcano, Methamphetamine Distribution, Florida 2025

Jacksonville’s Kevin Ray Marcano (37, Cambridge, MA) has been sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in federal prison for his role in a massive methamphetamine distribution ring. U.S. District Judge Wendy W. Berger imposed the sentence after Marcano pleaded guilty on April 22, 2025, to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

Marcano’s reign of terror began in March 2022 when he started shipping multi-pound packages of meth across the nation. His primary target was a customer in Jacksonville, who received around five packages monthly, each containing about 10 pounds of the deadly drug. In September 2023, this individual ordered an additional four pounds for $4,900, which Marcano promptly fulfilled.

“This criminal was responsible for shipping large quantities of methamphetamine across the country, fueling addiction and poisoning communities far beyond his own,” said Homeland Security Investigations Jacksonville Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tim Hemker. “The nationwide narcotics distribution network has been dismantled thanks to the dedicated efforts of HSI and FBI special agents.”

Investigations into Marcano’s activities were led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations, while Assistant United States Attorney Kelly S. Milliron prosecuted the case.

The sentencing of Marcano serves as a stark reminder of the devastating impact drug trafficking has on communities across the country, emphasizing the relentless efforts of law enforcement to combat such criminal activities.
