Mark Anthony Robillia, Methamphetamine and Firearm Possession, Mississippi 2024

Gulfport, Miss. – In a stark reminder of the dangers of drug trafficking and illegal firearms, Mark Anthony Robillia, 55, was today sentenced to 420 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Robillia’s sentence, handed down in U.S. District Court in Gulfport, is the result of his December 1, 2022, arrest at his residence, where authorities uncovered five firearms and approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, neatly packaged in 13 baggies.

Investigations revealed that Robillia had purchased three of the firearms himself and was given the other two. His past convictions for aggravated assault, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance were also taken into account by the court.

The jury convicted Robillia on February 7, 2024, and today’s sentence includes 240 months for the drug charge and 180 months for the firearms offense, totaling 420 months—35 years of his life behind bars.

U.S. Attorney Todd W. Gee and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Anessa Daniels-McCaw of the Drug Enforcement Administration announced the sentence, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of the DEA and the Gulfport Police Department in investigating and prosecuting this case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jonathan Buckner and Lee Smith led the prosecution against Robillia.
