Markell Greene, Child Exploitation, Massachusetts 2022

A Bronx man, Markell Greene, 25, has been indicted for child exploitation offenses in Massachusetts.

According to the indictment, Greene persuaded, enticed, and coerced a 13-year-old minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography.

Additionally, it is alleged that on or about February 14, 2022, Greene traveled in interstate commerce with a motivating purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with the minor victim.

The indictment charges Greene with one count of sexual exploitation of minors and one count of travel with intent to engage in illicit conduct.

The charge of sexual exploitation of children provides for a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.

The charge of travel with intent to engage in illicit conduct provides for a sentence of up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.

Greene is currently in state custody on related charges and will appear in federal court in Boston at a later date.
