A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in a large-scale cocaine trafficking operation in Miami, Florida.

According to court documents, Martinez was involved in the transportation and distribution of over 5 kilograms of cocaine across the southeastern United States.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Miami-Dade Police Department.

He pleaded guilty to the charge in August 2023 and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga on February 27, 2024.
