A self-proclaimed Nazi with a twisted obsession with mass murderers was caught planning a deadly assault on LGBTQ+ targets in Flint, Michigan, before police foiled the plot and seized a deadly arsenal.
Mack Davis, 23, of Owosso, had been fixated on infamous mass killers and drafted a chilling hit list of targets, including churches, synagogues, mosques, schools, hospitals, and supermarkets.
As he prepared to strike, Davis test-fired 60 bullets into his neighbors’ cars, one of which he had vandalized with an anti-gay slur, and boasted about his intentions to ‘fire on anyone and anything’ near his planned attack sites.
Police discovered a stash of illicit firearms, ammunition, and explosives, including a sawed-off rifle, crossbow, and bomb-making materials, during a search of Davis’s home, where they found a swastika-adorned knife with the ominous message ‘Death to you all.’
