Jordan Spadafore, Methamphetamine Trafficking, West Virginia 2024

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – In a groundbreaking takedown, local law enforcement has apprehended the heart of a ruthless drug trafficking operation that was flooding North Central West Virginia with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. The kingpin, Jordan Spadafore, 33, from Morgantown, along with Stephanie Miller, 47, of Charleston, and Olivia Gibson, 21, from Ona, have all pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.

Spadafore’s alleged underlings were indicted for their roles in distributing significant quantities of illicit substances within Monongalia County. The trio worked closely with Rodney Johnson, 46, a Philadelphia-based supplier who was said to be the primary conduit for the drugs into West Virginia.

The justice system has been ably represented by Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley, who is spearheading these cases against the accused. The investigation into this operation was spearheaded by the Mon Metro Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative that brought together an array of federal and local agencies in a coordinated effort to dismantle the drug network.

This joint operation is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), which utilizes a multi-agency approach to identify, disrupt, and dismantle high-level criminal organizations. More information about the OCDETF Program can be found at https://www.justice.gov/OCDETF.

The trial was presided over by U.S. Magistrate Michael John Aloi, ensuring a fair hearing for all parties involved.

This victory against the drug traffickers underscores the relentless efforts of federal and local law enforcement agencies to protect communities from the ravages of organized crime and drug trafficking.
