Danny D. Garrett Jr., a 46-year-old North Kansas City, Missouri resident, has been charged with distributing and possessing methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as firearms offenses. The crimes allegedly occurred between May and June 2026, with law enforcement serving a federal search warrant at Garrett’s apartment on June 24, 2026. The search yielded 4.42 kilograms of methamphetamine, 323 grams of cocaine, and three firearms. Garrett appeared in federal court on a nine-count complaint. The investigation was led by the DEA, ATF, and Kansas City Mo Police Department.
The charges against Garrett include distribution and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of firearms by a felon.
