A Rockledge, Florida man is going to federal prison for 15 years after getting caught distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine in Brevard County. Nico Jonte Lennear, 35, made two deals to undercover cops in Melbourne, selling them 4 ounces of meth and 1 ounce of fentanyl each time.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg. When Lennear got busted, cops found over 80 grams of meth in his rental car. In total, he was responsible for over 300 grams of meth and over 50 grams of fentanyl mixtures.
Lennear’s lawyer didn’t return a message seeking comment.
The case was investigated by the DEA, FBI, and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Megan Testerman handled the prosecution.
