Birmingham’s streets just got a little safer after a jury convicted a notorious meth kingpin of trafficking the deadly drug and brandishing a firearm.
Dimarcus DeSean Hodge, 34, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and heroin, as well as being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Between October 26, 2023, and February 15, 2024, Hodge sold over 140 grams of methamphetamine and a gram of fentanyl to an undercover cop. On February 21, 2024, police raided two of his vehicles, netting 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, three guns, and $1,790 in cash.
Hodge’s rap sheet includes multiple prior felony convictions in Jefferson County, making him a prohibited gun owner.
