Kevin James Xiques, 54, of Altoona, Alabama, is in federal lockup after being accused of storing child pornography on his computer. According to court documents, the alleged crime went down in December 2025.
Authorities swooped in on Xiques’ residence today, capping a probe by the FBI.
Project Safe Childhood, a Department of Justice initiative launched in 2006, aims to combat child sex exploitation and abuse. The program brings together federal, state, and local resources to hunt down predators and rescue victims.
Xiques faces a single count of child pornography possession. His guilt or innocence will be decided in a court of law.
