A 78-year-old repeat child predator has been caught with child pornography again, this time in Oklahoma City. George Walters, a registered sex offender, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possessing and sharing child porn.
Walters’ crime was uncovered by the FBI in September 2025, when agents conducted an online undercover investigation to identify individuals possessing and sharing child pornography. Through their investigation, they identified an IP address associated with Walters that made several child pornography images and videos available to others through a file-sharing website.
Walters was previously convicted of possession of child pornography in 2010 in the Western District of Oklahoma and was on supervised release less than a year before committing the crime again. On October 27, 2025, law enforcement executed a search warrant on his phone and found child pornography, leading to his arrest.
U.S. District Judge Scott L. Palk sentenced Walters to serve 120 months in federal prison, followed by supervised release for life. The judge cited Walters’ criminal history and emphasized that he committed the offense less than a year after being discharged from supervised release for his prior child pornography conviction.
