A Tallahassee man is facing up to 20 years in the slammer for each of two counts of child pornography possession. Cedrick Campbell, 36, pleaded guilty in federal court to the charges.
The Tallahassee Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force got wind of Campbell’s illicit activities and launched an investigation. A search of his cell phone and an overseas server revealed a stash of child pornography.
U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin vowed to hold accountable those who peddle child porn, saying it re-victimizes innocent kids every time it’s shared.
Campbell’s sentencing is set for June 11, 2026, at the United States Courthouse in Tallahassee. He’ll be under a lifetime of supervision upon release.
