Lawrence Antonio Jackson, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Arizona 2020

PHOENIX, Ariz. – In a brazen display of disregard for the law, Lawrence Antonio Jackson, 30, of Sacaton, Arizona, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it while on federal supervised release. Jackson, an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community, committed the offense on September 6, 2020, when he possessed 6.8 grams of actual methamphetamine, several small baggies, multiple scales, and a Luger pistol.

According to court documents, Jackson pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. The Gila River Police Department conducted the investigation, which led to Jackson’s arrest and subsequent conviction.
