In separate indictments filed in U.S. District Court, the grand jury charged two people from Mexico and one from Honduras for illegal entry after previous deportation.
ANELI LIMON CASTREJON, 42, of Oneonta, faces charges for being in Blount County on May 3, 2017, following her removal to Mexico in April 2007. Castrejon is also accused of misusing a Social Security number in DeKalb County this year.
MARCOS ANTONIO PONCE RODRIGUEZ, 25, from Marshall County, was charged with illegal presence in Blount County on May 3, 2017. He had been deported to Mexico multiple times between 2013 and 2015.
DARWIN MOISES AMADOR-ZEPEDA, 38, a Honduran living in Huntsville, is accused of being in Madison County on May 16, 2017, after removals in 2011 and 2012. Amador-Zepeda has been known by numerous aliases.
The trio could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for illegal re-entry, with an additional five years and $250,000 for misuse of a Social Security number. ICE investigated the cases, which are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama.
