Hilario Villegas-Espinoza, Reentry into the United States, Nevada 2026

Two Mexican nationals, Hilario Villegas-Espinoza and David Carachuri-Terrazas, are headed to prison after pleading guilty to reentering the US after deportation in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pair was caught by ICE agents in the city.

Villegas-Espinoza, 45, has a long history of crime. He was previously deported in 2009 and again in 2011, but came back to the US to face a 20-month sentence. His rap sheet includes felony convictions for Illegal Reentry After Deportation out of Texas and Attempt Lewdness with a Child Under the Age of 14 out of Nevada.

Carachuri-Terrazas, 38, was deported in 2018, but made his way back to the US to face a 13-month sentence. He has prior convictions for Coercion and Violation of Extended Protective Order in Nevada.

Both defendants will serve their prison time and then be deported from the US once again. The cases are part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative to combat crime.
