Michael Feast, Distribution of Cocaine Base and Using a Firearm During a Drug Trafficking Crime, Louisiana 2026

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – MICHAEL FEAST, age 31, was sentenced on March 31, 2026, by United States District Judge Brandon S. Long, after previously pleading guilty to Counts Two and Three of a three-count indictment, announced United States Attorney David I. Courcelle.

FEAST was charged with two federal crimes: Count Two charged him with distribution of a quantity of cocaine base, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(C), and Count Three charged him with using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 924(c)(1)(A)(i).

According to the indictment, FEAST’s crimes took place in violation of federal law. The severity of these crimes is a stark reminder of the dangers posed by those who engage in gun and drug trafficking.

As a result of his guilty plea, FEAST was sentenced to eight years in federal prison. This sentence serves as a warning to those who would engage in similar crimes – the consequences are real and the penalties are severe.

United States Attorney David I. Courcelle stated, “The sentence imposed in this case is a testament to the dedication of our law enforcement partners and the importance of holding those responsible for gun and drug trafficking accountable for their actions.”

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD). The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael E. Cunningham.
