Tampa, Florida – A brazen crime has shaken the quiet streets of Tampa. Mohammed Aburidi, a 24-year-old Palestinian national, has been charged with unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, a serious offense that could land him in federal prison for up to 15 years.
According to the indictment, on November 26, 2024, Aburidi was found in possession of firearms and ammunition after being admitted to the United States on a nonimmigrant visa. This egregious crime raises questions about the vetting process for non-citizens entering the country.
