A Centre County man has been charged with conspiring to produce child pornography.
Morris W. Reese, age 65, of Centre County, was indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury on one charge of conspiracy to produce child pornography.
According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, the indictment alleges that Reese conspired with others to produce child pornography from November 2024 to November 2025.
The FBI, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Centre County District Attorney’s Office investigated the case. Assistant United States Attorney Alisan V. Martin is prosecuting the case.
This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
The maximum penalty under federal law is up to thirty years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
Indictments are only allegations. All persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
