A registered sex offender from Versailles, Missouri, has been handed a 15-year prison sentence for possessing child pornography.

Mylon Duane Addis, 52, was found guilty of receiving child pornography on December 9, 2021. He had previously been convicted of child molestation, which involved the sexual abuse of a 10-year-old victim, and a prior federal conviction for possessing child pornography.

The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Boone County Sheriff’s Department and the Lake Area Cyber Crimes Task Force.
