Grimy Times has learned that Maidel Aguilar-Morales, 31, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, has been charged with Possession of Firearm and Ammunition by an Alien Illegally in the United States.
Aguilar-Morales is accused of being an alien unlawfully in the United States in possession of a Byrco Arms .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and ammunition. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, Sapulpa Police Department, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are the investigative agencies. Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles M. McLoughlin is prosecuting the case.
According to court documents, Aguilar-Morales is charged with one count of Possession of Firearm and Ammunition by an Alien Illegally in the United States. The case is being prosecuted as 21-CR-404.
This is not the first time Aguilar-Morales has been accused of a crime. In 2021, Aguilar-Morales was charged with 21-CR-404.
Aguilar-Morales is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate judge for arraignment. If convicted, Aguilar-Morales faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
