The United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, John P. Heekin, dropped the bombshell during a press conference, where he outlined the serious charges against Carpanzano and Fisher: Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering. These allegations are just the tip of the iceberg in what could turn out to be one of the biggest fraud cases in state history.
The courtroom drama is set to kick off on October 20, 2025, at 8:30 am before Judge T. Kent Wetherell, II. Carpanzano and Fisher will make their initial appearances on September 3, 2025, facing a federal judge who won’t be taking this case lightly.
