Pernell Dewayne Bodiford, Jr., False Statement to a Firearms Dealer, Florida 2021

Pernell Dewayne Bodiford, Jr., 24, of Jacksonville, bought a Glock pistol from Cash City Pawn of Jacksonville on July 2, 2021, by giving false details intended to deceive the seller.

The indictment alleges that Bodiford, Jr. claimed he was the actual buyer of the Glock pistol when, in fact, he was purchasing it for someone else who was prohibited from owning firearms. Providing false information to a federal firearms dealer is a violation of federal law.
