DeVaughn Faulk, Fentanyl Cocaine Conspiracy, PA 2024

Federal Judge Marilyn J. Horan has presided over the guilty plea of DeVaughn Faulk, 28, a resident of Pittsburgh’s Bon Air neighborhood, who admitted to his involvement in a major drug trafficking conspiracy. Faulk stands accused of conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute quantities of fentanyl and cocaine between March 2024 and July 2024.

According to Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti, Faulk played the role of redistributor for street-level amounts of both Schedule II controlled substances. The court advised that the conspiracy was a significant operation, targeting two of the most dangerous drugs on the streets today.

Sentencing has been scheduled for November 12, 2025, where Faulk faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $1 million or both. Faulk will remain in custody pending this critical hearing.

The investigation that led to Faulk’s prosecution was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), with Assistant United States Attorneys Katherine C. Jordan and Kelly M. Locher representing the government. This case is a part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which focuses on dismantling high-level drug traffickers and criminal organizations.

OCDETF employs a multi-agency approach that combines federal, state, and local law enforcement efforts to combat drug trafficking networks. Faulk’s conviction serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing battle against organized crime and its impact on communities across the United States.
