Ralph Tyrone Caruthers, Cocaine Distribution, Oklahoma 2014

Muskogee, Oklahoma – In a shocking turn of events, a local man has been brought to justice for his role in distributing cocaine in the community.

Ralph Tyrone Caruthers, a 49-year-old resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 35 months imprisonment, followed by 2 years of supervised release, for his involvement in Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(C).

The investigation into Caruthers’ activities began in earnest when the Muskogee Police Department and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics launched a joint operation to crack down on local cocaine sales. The defendant was indicted in August 2014 and pled guilty in January 2015.

According to court documents, on or about July 8, 2014, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the defendant did knowingly and intentionally possess with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine, a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
