Randy McKinley, Possession of Child Pornography, West Virginia 2021

A Harrison County man has been found guilty of possessing child pornography.

Randy McKinley, 58, of Bridgeport, West Virginia, admitted to having child pornography with children under the age of 12 in October 2020.

According to the United States Attorney, McKinley pleaded guilty in November 2021 to one count of ‘Possession of Child Pornography.’

As a result of the guilty plea, McKinley was sentenced to 168 months of incarceration.

The defendant was also ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution to the victims and victims assistance funds.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Danae DeMasi-Lemon prosecuted the case on behalf of the government, while the Bridgeport Police Department, the West Virginia State Police, and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the sentencing.

The case serves as a reminder of the importance of prosecuting those who engage in child exploitation and abuse.
