Rochester Man Heads to Prison for Assaulting Officer
In a shocking turn of events, 30-year-old Raymond Brock, a Rochester resident, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for assaulting a federal officer. This disturbing incident occurred on May 2, 2022, when Brock was taken into custody by members of the United States Marshals Service Task Force at his Forrester Street residence.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Katelyn M. Hartford, who handled the case, Brock was uncooperative and refused to walk under his own power after being taken into custody. A Task Force Officer attempted to speak with Brock about the circumstances of the incident and arrest, but he was physically resistant and threatened to spit in the officer’s face. Unfortunately, Brock carried out his threat, spitting blood onto the officer’s face.
