A career crook with a history of violence was sentenced to 20 years behind bars for peddling meth and packing heat in Richmond.
Montrio Santos Neville, 40, was busted in October 2024 in Gilpin Court, Richmond, after a law enforcement sweep for a wanted individual. Neville was found with a gun, 6.875 grams of 97% pure meth, and hundreds of meth tablets on him.
This wasn’t Neville’s first rodeo. He’s got a rap sheet that includes forgery, malicious wounding, and heroin possession. At the time of the arrest, he’d been out of prison for just three months and was on probation.
As a convicted felon, Neville’s not supposed to have firearms or ammo. But the gun was just the tip of the iceberg. The meth he had on him was 97% pure, making it a deadly dose.
Neville’s sentence is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative to clean up the streets of violent crime and methamphetamine.
