Rigoberto Zavala-Cerrato, Illegal Reentry, Pennsylvania 2015

Rigoberto Zavala-Cerrato, 28, of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, has been charged with a serious crime. Zavala-Cerrato is accused of illegal reentry after deportation, in direct violation of federal law.

According to the indictment, Zavala-Cerrato was deported from the United States on February 4, 2010, but was found back in the country on September 15, 2015. The indictment alleges that Zavala-Cerrato, a native and citizen of Mexico, knowingly and willfully entered the United States after having been deported.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Frank R. Costello, Jr.
