Robert Dunn, Child Pornography, Florida 2022

MIAMI, FL – A Lake Worth, Florida man has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.

Robert Dunn, a registered sex offender, produced child pornography with a Colorado woman, Tonya Bagley, with whom he shared a dominant-submissive relationship. Bagley was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison for her involvement in the crime.

In November 2019, Dunn and Bagley began chatting on social media and developed an online relationship. They agreed that Bagley would photograph herself performing oral sex on a young boy and send the images to Dunn through a social media messenger application.

A CyberTip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children led law enforcement to Dunn’s Lake Worth home on March 10, 2020. There, they found child pornography images on his electronic devices and learned of his relationship with Bagley. The investigation also led to the rescue of a child.

Dunn pleaded guilty in December 2021 to conspiring to produce, producing, receiving, and possessing child pornography. U.S. District Judge Roy K. Altman handed down the 50-year sentence on [DATE].

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation include the FBI Miami and the Grand County Colorado Sheriff’s Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Gregory Schiller prosecuted the case. The case number is 20-cr-80069.
