Juan Manuel Robles, Cocaine Trafficking, Ohio 2024

A federal judge in Cincinnati has handed down a life sentence to 35-year-old Juan Manuel Robles, the mastermind behind a $1 million cocaine trafficking operation that spanned across the Midwest.

According to court documents, Robles, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was the ringleader of a group of individuals who transported and sold large quantities of cocaine in Ohio and surrounding states.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio revealed that the operation, which was in effect from 2018 to 2022, generated over $1 million in revenue for Robles and his associates.

During a two-week trial, prosecutors presented evidence of Robles’ role in the organization, including testimony from several co-conspirators who implicated him in the crime.

Robles’ defense team argued that their client was merely a mid-level player in the operation and that he was not the primary source of the cocaine.

In the end, U.S. District Judge Timothy S. Black found Robles guilty of one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
