Rolando Alexis Bravo, Child Exploitation, Texas 2025

A 44-year-old Oklahoma man has been put behind bars after pleading guilty to child exploitation charges in the Eastern District of Texas.

Rolando Alexis Bravo, of Lawton, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to being involved in a conspiracy to transport minors, a charge that could land him in federal prison for the rest of his life.

According to court documents, on November 16, 2023, Bravo transported three minors from Lawton, Oklahoma, to Dallas where he met a co-conspirator, who then transported the children to Tyler. The co-conspirator obtained hotel rooms in Tyler where the children engaged in prostitution with others.

Bravo faces up to life in federal prison, a maximum statutory sentence prescribed by Congress.

The case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the U.S. government to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The case was investigated by the FBI and the Tyler Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Alan Jackson and Emil Mikkelson.

A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a presentence investigation by the U.S. Probation Office.

The case highlights the importance of law enforcement agencies working together to combat child exploitation and abuse.

As part of the investigation, Bravo’s co-conspirator obtained hotel rooms in Tyler where the children were forced to engage in prostitution with others.
