Glendale Man Sentenced to 120 Months for Distribution of Child Pornography
PHOENIX – Ronald Amaguin Dallas, 28, of Glendale, Ariz., was sentenced to 120 months’ imprisonment by U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan last week. Dallas had previously pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography.
According to the investigation, over the course of at least a year, Dallas downloaded and distributed child pornography through bit torrent file sharing. Undercover agents obtained a warrant to search his home after they downloaded child pornography from Dallas’s IP address. During the search, agents seized several devices containing video files and hundreds of images depicting child pornography.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution was handled by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Brandon M. Brown and Gayle Helart.
Ronald Amaguin Dallas, 28, was found guilty of distributing child pornography. He was sentenced to 120 months’ imprisonment.
