Christopher Alexander Reilly, Child Pornography Receipt, Texas 2024

CRIMINAL CHARGE: Child Pornography Receipt

In a stunning revelation, Christopher Alexander Reilly, the well-known San Antonio photographer operating under Chris Reilly Photography, has been charged with one count of receipt of child pornography. The charges were announced by United States Attorney Richard L. Durbin, Jr., and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent in Charge Christopher Combs, San Antonio Division.

According to court documents, Reilly is accused of downloading explicit content involving minors onto a computer hard drive last month. On January 24, 2017, a data recovery firm alerted the FBI to videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct on one of two drives submitted for recovery by the defendant.

FBI agents seized both hard drives and executed a search warrant at Reilly’s residence. They confiscated his cellphone, photography equipment, computers, and storage devices during the operation.

As of now, investigators have not identified any clients or subjects of Reilly’s professional work in the child porn images. The investigation is ongoing, with the FBI emphasizing a focus on identifying potential victims and ensuring they receive appropriate support and services.

Reilly remains in federal custody following his arrest and initial court appearance. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison. His detention hearing is scheduled for February 7, 2017, before United States Magistrate Judge Henry J. Bemporad in San Antonio. Assistant United States Attorney Tracy Thompson is prosecuting the case.

It is crucial to note that a criminal complaint is merely an accusation and does not constitute evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
