Muskogee Man Pleads Guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

In a shocking turn of events, a Muskogee man has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in a federal court in Oklahoma. Sean Paul Duer, 58, of Durant, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to an Information of one count of Possession With Intent To Distribute Methamphetamine, punishable by up to twenty years in prison.

According to the Information, on May 12, 2024, Duer knowingly and intentionally possessed a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, intending to distribute it. The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Durant Police Department.

The Honorable D. Edward Snow, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.
