Anthony Dennis Williams II, Sexually Abusing Minor, Maryland 2024

Baltimore, Maryland – A former employee at the Fort Meade Youth Center has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a minor, officials announced today.

Anthony Dennis Williams II, 27, of Severn, Maryland, was taken into custody after a federal investigation uncovered evidence of his alleged crimes.

The charges against Williams stem from an investigation that began in 2010 and 2011, when he worked at the Fort Meade Youth Center as a Child Youth and School-aged Services (CYSS) employee.

According to a criminal complaint, Williams taught a program called Passport to Manhood (P2M) for juvenile males attending CYS, where he allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations with two minor males and exchanged explicit photographs and videos.

The minors were reportedly communicating with Williams through social media sites and text messages. Parents are warned to be ‘relentless’ in monitoring their children’s online activities, including reading text messages and checking social media accounts.

Williams faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for sexual abuse of a minor. He is currently being held without bail and is expected to make an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Baltimore tomorrow.

United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein praised the FBI and Army CID for their work in the investigation and thanked the Citrus County, Florida Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.

A criminal complaint is not a finding of guilt, and Williams is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
