Newark, N.J. – Amir Warden, alias ‘Stamps’ and ‘Killa,’ a 31-year-old member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips gang, was today sentenced to 84 months in prison for racketeering conspiracy and possession of firearms as a convicted felon.
According to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger, Warden admitted his guilt before Judge Susan D. Wigenton, who imposed the sentence in Newark federal court.
The documents and statements presented during the trial revealed that Warden was an active member of the gang from 2015 until September 22, 2022. He played a leadership role, conspiring with others to distribute controlled substances, including heroin on August 19, 2019. On September 29, 2022, as a convicted felon, he possessed three loaded firearms, high-capacity drum magazines, and nearly 1,300 rounds of ammunition.
U.S. Attorney Sellinger acknowledged the efforts of numerous agencies in bringing Warden to justice, including the DEA, IRS-CI, ATF, U.S. Marshals Service, various local police departments, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office. This case is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation.
Warden was also sentenced to three years of supervised release following his prison term. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Francesca Liquori and Jake Nasar represented the government in this case.
