Forrest Alan Price, a 32-year-old serial felon from Tallahassee, Florida, has pleaded guilty to federal gun and drug charges. The bust went down in February 2026, when the Tallahassee Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle following surveillance of a suspected drug house. Price, a passenger in the vehicle, was caught trying to conceal several baggies of drugs in his lap. He briefly resisted officers’ commands but was eventually handcuffed.
Officers found that Price was hiding baggies containing 13.3 grams of synthetic cathinone and 6.8 grams of pure methamphetamine. They also discovered a 9-millimeter pistol on top of a small safe in the locked glove compartment. The safe contained 24.16 grams of pure methamphetamine, additional synthetic cathinone, marijuana, Alprazolam pills, and items used to package drugs for street sale.
Price, who has a dozen prior felony convictions, was prohibited from possessing firearms. His guilty plea is a result of Operation Take Back America, a initiative launched by President Donald J. Trump and acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to target drug trafficking violent offenders.
The successful prosecution of Price is a victory for the citizens of the Northern District of Florida, who deserve safe and drug-free streets. U.S. Attorney John P.
