GRIMY NEWS: Tampa Man Indicted for Producing Child Sexual Abuse Material

In a chilling development, Michael Antwohn Wilson, 38, from Tampa, Florida, has been hit with a federal indictment for producing and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). If convicted on all counts, the defendant faces a staggering maximum sentence of 80 years in federal prison.

According to the charges, on April 27 and February 23, 2023, Wilson engaged in the production and attempted production of CSAM within the Middle District of Florida. His possession of CSAM, which included material depicting minors under the age of 12, is alleged to have occurred from an unknown date until June 26, 2025.

Michael A. Wilson has been formally charged with violating federal criminal law, but he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Ilyssa M. Spergel under the jurisdiction of the Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI.
