Terrell Howard Charged with Drug Trafficking in Ohio

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Terrell Howard, a 47-year-old Cleveland man, has been indicted on federal charges for drug trafficking and firearms possession, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, Carole S. Rendon.

The indictment, which was handed down on an unspecified date, charges Howard with four counts: being a felon in possession of two firearms and ammunition, possessing with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possessing with the intent to distribute marijuana, and maintaining a drug house.

According to the indictment, Howard possessed with the intent to distribute crack cocaine base and marijuana on October 19, 2016. He also allegedly maintained a residence on West 9th Street in Cleveland for the purpose of distributing marijuana.

Furthermore, Howard allegedly possessed a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol, and ammunition on October 19, 2016, despite having multiple felony convictions.

The Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the investigation, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ranya Elzein. If convicted, Howard’s sentence will be determined by the court after a review of factors unique to this case, including his prior criminal record, his role in the offense, and the characteristics of the violation.
