A Philadelphia man has been caught up in a West Virginia methamphetamine operation, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell announced.
Terry Willie Trapp, 48, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, pled guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Substances.
The crime took place in October 2018 in Monongalia County, West Virginia.
Trapp could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
The actual sentence will be determined by the seriousness of the offenses and Trapp’s prior criminal history.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley is handling the case on behalf of the government.
The Mon Metro Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, and the Morgantown Police Department investigated the crime.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Aloi presided over the case.
