Pittsburgh Man Indicted for Gun Possession
HARRISBURG – A Pittsburgh man has been indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm in Pennsylvania, 2025.
Tieriq Pinnix, age 32, was indicted on June 18, 2025, by a federal grand jury of being a convicted felon prohibited from possessing a firearm.
According to Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus, the indictment alleges that Pinnix possessed an FNH, 9-millimeter handgun and ammunition in York County, on March 6, 2025.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Northern York Regional Police Department, and the York Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Ford is prosecuting the case.
Pinnix faces a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the government to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.
