Timeek Heath, Fentanyl and Gun Offenses, Connecticut 2024

Bridgeport, Connecticut – Waterbury man Timeek Heath, 41, has been charged with fentanyl and gun offenses, according to a federal indictment.

As alleged in the indictment, on two occasions in August and September 2024, Heath distributed fentanyl. On September 5, 2024, Heath sold a Glock, Model 23, .40 caliber pistol to an individual he knew was a convicted felon.

Heath’s criminal history includes felony convictions for manslaughter and larceny offenses. It is a violation of federal law for a person previously convicted of a felony offense to possess a firearm or ammunition that has moved in interstate or foreign commerce.

The indictment charges Heath with two counts of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of fentanyl, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years on each count; one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years; one count of sale of a firearm by a prohibited person, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years; and one count of firearms trafficking, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years.

Timeek Heath, 41, of Waterbury, was charged with the following offenses:

Two counts of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of fentanyl, with a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years on each count; one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, with a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years; one count of sale of a firearm by a prohibited person, with a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years; and one count of firearms trafficking, with a maximum term of imprisonment of 15 years.

Heath was ordered detained pending a detention hearing scheduled for June 17, 2025, in Hartford federal court. The case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Nathaniel J. Gentile. This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the federal government to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan stressed that an indictment is not evidence of guilt. Charges are only allegations, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
