Sabeeh Daquan Goldwire, Methamphetamine Distribution, Pennsylvania 2025

Upper Darby Dealer Gets 57 Months for ‘Ice’ Run

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Sabeeh Daquan Goldwire, 28, of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, is headed to federal prison for nearly five years. Chief United States District Judge Matthew W. Brann handed down a 57-month sentence yesterday for the man’s role in a methamphetamine distribution network operating in Williamsport.

Goldwire pleaded guilty on June 24, 2025, to the charge of distributing methamphetamine. The feds say Goldwire peddled the drug on seven separate occasions between February 28, 2024, and July 29, 2024, brazenly operating within 1,000 feet of public housing – a clear disregard for the families and residents he was endangering.

The investigation, led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, uncovered a larger drug distribution ring. Key evidence presented in court included a damning FaceTime message from Goldwire to a buyer, explicitly stating he was bringing “ice” – a common street name for methamphetamine – from Philadelphia to Williamsport. It wasn’t a sophisticated operation, but it was consistent and dangerous.

Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus didn’t mince words, stating the sentence reflects the seriousness of the crime and the commitment to dismantling these networks. “This case sends a clear message that those who profit from poisoning our communities will be held accountable,” a statement from the USAO read. Goldwire’s activities weren’t about a quick buck; they were about fueling addiction and exploiting vulnerable individuals.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Robin Zenzinger prosecuted the case. The prosecution successfully painted Goldwire as a key player in supplying the deadly drug to the Williamsport area. The judge clearly agreed, imposing a sentence that aims to keep Goldwire off the streets and disrupt the flow of methamphetamine.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a broad-stroke federal program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence. Launched in 2021, PSN focuses on building trust with communities, supporting local organizations, and strategically targeting enforcement efforts. The Department of Justice hopes this conviction, and others like it, will contribute to safer neighborhoods for everyone.
